“Kick Start Initiative” Equipment Aid Donation Policy 

Details:

  • Along with the need to provide scholarships to play the game of soccer comes the need to provide equipment to play safely. The Kicks 4 All Foundation has created the “Kick Start Initiative“ with the goal of assuring that each child has the proper equipment needed to excel in the game of soccer.

  • Assistance is available for any youth player participating in recreational or travel soccer. The K4A Foundation does not publish qualification criteria since these are just guidelines, and the final decisions on equipment aid donations are made by the K4A Foundation Board of Directors based on the availability of the equipment aid donations pool. So, we encourage all families to apply if they feel they need any assistance with soccer equipment costs. 

  • Subject to the availability of the equipment aid donation pool, the K4A Foundation shall offer equipment aid donations for families that demonstrate a need or financial hardship. The application information will be kept confidential.

Eligibility

  • Any youth soccer player is eligible to apply for equipment aid donations. Qualification is primarily based on verified family income. Other factors such as unemployment or other financial hardships may also be considered by the K4A Foundation Board of Directors. 

Application Process:

  • Applications for equipment aid donations are available online and must be completed and returned to the K4A Foundation.

  • Applications will be evaluated and approved by the K4A Foundation Board of Directors. Notification of equipment aid donations shall be sent via email to each applicant. 

Applications:

  • Completed applications for equipment aid donations may be emailed to info@k4afoundation.org or mailed to the Kicks 4 All Foundation, P.O. Box 60143, Harrisburg, PA 17106. Incomplete applications may result in disqualification. 

  • The K4A Foundation will continue to accept applications throughout the year. The K4A Foundation will consider equipment aid donations based on the availability of the equipment aid donation pool.

Amount of Aid Provided:

  • The K4A Foundation Board of Directors shall determine the amount of equipment aid donations available for the year; however, there is no obligation to award all/any of the equipment aid donation pool.
